Illustrations for the Bestiary

MCM Creative- This is all illustrations are for the yet unfinished pages of the bestiary, for those who don’t want to jump pages all to see them all. I’ll try to keep them in order of the chapters. Try, but no promises.

Skunks are a secret weapon of the Druids. After all, most druids don't hesitate to make use of the larger preditors while adventuring. However, when a druid needs to ward off an enemy from a location or treasure, the skunk is unbeatable. With its ability to precisely target its stink glands up to 8 times, and with the power of the the nauseating smell even on a miss, many a druid has taken the opportunity to show an over-powered warrior a thing or two about disrespecting nature.
The jerboa is a remarkable tiny creature that, despite being 2.5-3.5 inches (without tail), can jump up to 6 ft. vertically, as well as jink at high speeds. The jerboa represents the rare opportunity for escape that is available to younger druids that is not as advantageous to the elder Druids. This isn't because the elder druid can't morph a swarm of jerboas, but rather, because the elder druid is no longer on a timer and forced back into the druid's natural form after a period of time. Jerboas are solitary creatures, and so the swarm that a druid becomes with any of the smaller creatures quickly disperses and will avoid its parts until the Druid's animal form is up. Once a Druid can spend an indefinite amount of time in animal form, well, this does present some difficulties doesn't it? Arch Druid Chenghiz ended up spending 20 years as a swarm of Jerboas, requiring multiple quests by apprentice applicants to bring him back together.
