Portraits
A hand drawn image of a mermaid harvesting mussels. She is completely underwater, with her arms overhear and her face tilted upwards as she pries the mussles from the rock above her. She is framed above by a dark cave that we appear to be looking out of, behind her is a landscape that fades to a milking blue in the distance. Due to the depth most red has been pulled out of the light, so it is hard to determine how pale her skin is, except where it is green. Her flukes are not visable, but there are frilled side fins from below her rib cage to what might be about mid-knee on a human. Th frils are the same skin color and green with white dots. Her hair is a pale whitish blue and flows to the right in an implied current. There are various forms of sea life on the rocks above and just behind her. The line quality is similar to a block or linoleum print.
